It is showing in Philly. Already one commercial from the Power Company saying they are ready. Also, the local affiliate has boxed the movie twice and run a disclaimer crawl and given a phone number for "more information if the viewer is worried". The first one was on during the ATM seen.

Whoa, Disclaimers, huh? None here in Dallas. They are hoping not too many are watching it, I guess.

Just saw the scene where the NG shoots a prep guy. Freaky.

That was a piss poorly orchestrated scene...If it were me who was the buddy, I'll I hear is a shotgun blast, my buddy dropping like he's poleaxed...hell I admire the guy's (Joe's) restraint...I woulda burned a mag...Guys, (and gals) make a note not to even show a firearm never mind firing a dumbass 'warning shot'...you'll see a reaction much like that...

Ditto that for Pittsburgh, including the power company disclaimer. But, hey, we're invited to call the 'local experts' with concerns. Mostly PR guys, but at least they're doing something.

Over 1000 calls to the station during the show, still taking calls. Lots of busy signals. But everyone's looking local. No one there to address overseas concerns, except to cite the Senate 100 Day report.

Electric guy :"We've been ready since June 30th. We expect to be generating power at a minute after midnight the same as a minute before." Wow. A grand total of whole 4 minutes of coverage. Maybe they'll recap later on, but I'm very glad I won't be here late Dec.

A lousy movie, mediocre coverage, and no one playing connect the dots. I do believe I'm now disgusted. Have a good Thanksgiving, everyone.
