A little more expensive, perhaps, but I just bought some water filters (Doulton -- the kind used in the expensive Berkefield filter sets) with little hose attachments for immediate family -- $37 each. You can use these with muddy water to make water cleaner than that which comes out of your tap.

I'm looking to buy online car emergency kits for some DGI relatives in another state. I want it to include medical/food/water/ at least. Anyone know where to buy one? I've been looking online with no success. Thanks!
