I work out every day, but still the spare tire persists. What can I do to burn more fat?

You say you work out every day.

What is your routine?

What is your diet?

I run every weekend. Do at least two Aerobics classes a week and lift weights twice a week. I also play basketball and run on the weekends (a couple of weeks ago I ran ten miles)

Ussually eat veggies and carbohydrates. Favorite foods are vietnamese noodles, and Korean, sometimes I break down and have a Pizza.

I can tell right now that what you need to do is gain muscle mass. Go to four days of weight training, with a 48 hour rest period between each muscle group.

Putting on muscle will help your body burn calories. A pound of muscle needs energy all day long, so even when you are not exercising you are burning more calories.

If you are using the machines switch to free weights. Machines will help you a little bit, but free weights will get much better results. Of course you have to know what you are doing, so find a good trainer in your area to teach you proper form and safety.
