yolkless eggs

One of our hens is laying small eggs with no yokes - every day. She's a one year old Rhode Island who was a great layer till this started. Does anyone know why this happens and/or if we can expect full eggs again soon? David & Kim

She's been brainwashed by the cholesterol fearing amongst us!!!

Sorry, can't help you. Sounds like an internal problem. Sue

I've had the same thing happen but not repeatedly. I would check nutrition. Are you using the same feed? I assume it is a laying mash or pellet. I like the pellets because the hen gets the entire formula and with mash they can pick out what they want. Also I find mash lasts me about half as long as pellets. Good Luck!
