This is my favorite recipe. Drinking some now...it's addictive!

8 qts powdered milk (large box)

2 lbs. Nestles Quick

6 oz. Coffee Mate

3/4 C. powdered sugar

Mix and store in 4 gal. plastic or glass container. Add 1/3 cup of mix to 1 cup hot water.

Stock replacement ingrediants...this is a definite potential barter item! :-)

I predict your spouse is going to threaten you with divorce and I'm not going to defend you.

Roland, powdered milk is expensive, and coffee mate? Just admit it you're playing with your stash. Get your fingers out of it.

just what I need, another addiction....thanks Roland.

You don't happen to have the recipe for "SLURM" do you?

I've used this recipe for many years when I've put together Christmas or "Get Well" baskets for friends. It's really YUMMY and lasts a long time.

I have a similar recipe--same ingredients plus a can of cocoa and more powdered sugar. Got it from a friend who runs an auction chuck wagon. Very good stuff.

Don't forget the itty bitty marshmellows!

This is a recipe? Or a prescription for a diabetic coma?

Just kidding. It looks wonderful. I think I gained 10 pounds just reading it.

Ha, this is my favorite drink too but my recipe is richer! Use 16 oz. of CoffeeMate and 2 cups of powdered sugar. Great stuff. Well worth every penny.

As you well know SLURM comes from a fat, gross, extraterestial slug's butt.

Anyone have a source for Van Houton's Cacao Powder??

Chuck

I can't do cocoa without it.

Paula,

Your posts are becoming more and more negative and confrontational. Knock it off.

As for my spouse, he loves hot chocolate. Any YOU try to get 2 small children to drink nothing but powdered milk. It tastes like shit, IMHO.

And thanks for your concern about my finances, although it's none of your damn business... :-)
