Can't find rubber pants

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

I use cloth diapers on my children and I can't find the rubber pants I like any more. They are made be Gerber and they are called "Pull On Diaper Pants". On the tag they say 100% polyester cover, 100% polyurethane coating. The side seams are sewn and they hold up really well. I have looked at every store I can think of. I have even called Gerber. I can order them direct but they are $3.00 a piece and they take 4 weeks to ship. They cannot tell me where in CT to look. They are really no help. In addition it will cost $5.00 shipping on an order up to $50. I need a couple different sizes and would appreciate if anyone knows where I can buy them. If I can't find them , I will order them but I would like them sooner. If any one has seen them, please, please let me know. Thanks a bunch!

Bob, I have some of these mostly unused - all clean. What size are you looking for? You'd be welcome to what we have.

Bob, Have you seen any of the latest catalogs of diaper suppliers? There is a good book I would recommend to you. Its called Diaper Changes The complete diapering book and resource guide. The author is Theresa Rodrigues Farrisi. Any library should be able to get it for you. I am using cloth diapers with diaper covers. I have several types of covers including wool, waterproofed cotton and a new thin vinyl that work great with no leakage. If you want more info on catalog sources and dont want to get the book, just e-mail me and I can give you more info. Diane
