Nice censorship a-holes

What a bunch of pathetic, feeble-minded techno-phobes.

Can't wait to see how your lives and careers are doing after the rollover.

"Can't wait to see how your lives and careers are doing after the rollover." WHAT??? Is there some PROBLEM connected with "the rollover"?? What, exactly, do you mean by "rollover", and what sort of difficulties might it just have for us??

Please don't keep us in suspense. But, at the same time, be advised that we tend to be pretty skeptical around here, so don't be surprised if we ask a few hard questions. Last thing we like are scaremongers....

SAFETY

Dear! of all happy in the hour, most blest

He who has found our hid security,

Assured in the dark tides of the world that rest,

And heard our word, "Who is so safe as we?"

We have found safety with all things undying,

The winds, and morning, tears of men and mirth,

The deep night, and birds singing, and clouds flying,

And sleep, and freedom, and the autumnal earth.

We have built a house that is not for Time's throwing.

We have gained a peace unshaken by pain for ever.

War knows no power. Safe shall be my going,

Secretly armed against all death's endeavour;

Safe though all safety's lost; safe where men fall;

And if these poor limbs die, safest of all.

Wish my little computer had the ability to just delete some of the threads on this forum just for my screen. This would be one of them.

You Know Who,

I think were all in this together and no one gets out of lifes classroom alone. Its so easy to accept the boundaries of our egos and strive to make others wrong. A limited sense of selfhood must be forever in search of something outside; something that is less worthy of Love than its own limited sense of I. When you strive to tear others down, in the effort to build up your own false sense of identity, how far do you think that will go towards your own liberation? It takes serious introspection to find the interconnection that we share. Lifes mystery is seen when you perceive those around you as worthy of forgiveness, and you then find yourself as worthy of taking that next step out of a limited mind-frame. Your salvation is mine, and mine is yours. Going beyond the seeming differences, can we put off the old man, and be like him.

Magic Carpet Ride by Steppenwolf

I like to dream
yeah, yeah, right between a sound machine
On a cloud outside it takes me every night
Anyplace it goes is right
Flies far, flies near
To the stars, away from here

You don't know what
We can see
Wontcha take a look inside
On a Magic Carpet Ride
You don't know what
We can see
Why don't you tell your dreams to me
Fantasy will set you free

Close your eyes girl
Look inside girl
Let the sound take you away

Last night I held Alladin's lamp
I sorta wished that I could stay
Before the thing could answer me
Well, someone took the lamp away
I looked around
A lousy candle was all I found

(Repeat chorus)

(Instrumental solo)

(Repeat chorus)

(fade)

Likewise! Seeing as how I am prepped with goods that I would have bought anyway within their expiry date, and I paid with earned money, AND I'm a software engineer who won't be resigning to run for the hills, I'm really struggling to see how I could do better.

Why not tell us some more about yourself so we can answer your questions more fully? Have you any technical skills or knowledge? Have you collected all 151 Pokemon yet? Are you being abused, or is there some other issue you'd like to share with us?

-- Colin MacDonald (roborogerborg@yahoo.com), November 16, 1999.

Colin

You beg the question - Since you seem to know there are 151 Pokemon cards to collect, have YOU collected them all?? :-)
