DHS To Pay Overdraft Fees - (MEMPHIS) -- The Department of Human Services is paying the overdraft fees of child support recipients after the state stopped payment on their support checks. The mix-up came after a computer error sent out larger payments than the recipients would normally receive. It's the latest in a series of problems that have plagued the support payment program since the D-H-S took over disbursements earlier this year.
