NOAA Making Y2K Changes?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

I have Time Warner Cable at home, with a NOAA Weather channel (channel 26). Last night I thought I heard a blurb about NOAA making Y2K changes to their systems on Nov. 8th.

Has anyone else heard this, please?

Well, one change they will be making is at the CIO level since the ad in todays Washington Post is looking for a new one. Start date of Dec. 20. Gee, what an interesting time to have someone leave.

Well the roof didn't collapse on my watch, Hell I left that job in November, December.

Hee... Hee. The rats are starting to jump off the ship. But remember click your shoes together, and wish real hard. It's only a three day storm.
