Rense interveiw and electrical power..................

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

There were two interesting tid bits from the interveiw. First, only about 100 power producers, out of 3,200 have done end to end testing. Second, 50% of the NEW parts to remediate power plant y2k problems have been found not to work! One other thing. There is alot of old equipment out there, that will not be changed in time for rollover.

What are Sturat Rodman's credentials? I have not and probably will not have the time to listen to the show...Can someone post the fellow's CV to this site.

Rodman was on Art Bell late winter re y2k, so there might be some info about him there. I recall it being the most nauseatingly disjointed interview I have heard. Had some interesting points (on electricity and NERC's contingency plan), but he made it too tedious to get to them.

Here's Rodman's website, "The Last Days of Power": http://members.aol.com/jrodman527/y2k.html

And here's his bio: http://members.aol.com/jrodman527/bio.html
