My alma mater is in deep sh*t for y2k...how many others?...

Check out my University of Miami's "updated" y2k disclosure. Let's just say, it ain't real comforting.

Therefore, while we can describe our efforts with respect to year 2000 issues affecting our systems, vendors and operations and have made every reasonable effort to insure that our systems are year 2000 compliant, we cannot guarantee the results of our efforts or certify that we are or will be totally year 2000 compliant.

How many other schools are in as bad of shape as UM?

Orson,

Sad thing, I think many are in the same boat... or maybe worse.

There's another thread floating around about problems with financial aid and a lot of the smaller colleges. So I'd say there are plenty that are worse off... :)
