Have you located in print anywhere other than this article where the Trans. Dept. said "a lack of Y2K readiness does not necessarily constitute a safety threat."? It would be interesting to see the rationale behind that statement and how they plan to differentiate between the safe and non-safe stages of readiness. Very curious thing to say, especially since it says right on the top of their home page "Safety is our top priority".
