Forum or chatroom for countrydwellers

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

I seem to recall a reader writing in to Countryside awhile back with the website addresses for a chatroom or something similar for country folks, looking for other country folks---however, I can't seem to find it. Anyone know what this might be???? Thanks!

Check out the reader's forum on the BackwoodsHome magazine web site. I participate there and love it. Also if you check out the bottom of the forum index listing there is a thread about chat rooms and one of the men from the forum has set one up. I don't know where it is or anything about it because chat rooms seem to be beyond me, I refer to myself as being "computer illieterate". Hope this helps you.

There is a Homesteaders chat room at http://angelfire.com/tn/gaelio/frame.html It is not used often, so you might make a post asking someone to visit with you.

For a great discussion group go to misc. rural. All homesteading subjects are there.
