We beat you by three days here in southern Minnesota - 1.5 inches last Friday afternoon. Thankfully it's all melted now.I've got a feeling we're in for a long cold winter ahead...

-You may be right. I saw and heard flights of geese already northwest of Houston. Possibly a little early this year.

The Gov't already knows this. They are painting the american deathcamp busses UN white so you won't be able to see them coming through the deep snow.

--Speaking of white busses, I saw 5 white busses yesterday and today. Two of them said "First Baptist Church," and the other 3 busses said "Sierra Community College." But I think they were really disguised as UN busses. Beautiful day today here in the Sacramento valley, it's 75 degrees with a soft breeze.

That soft breeze is probably coming from the state capitol, where CIO Eli Cortez is blowing pure sunshine about Y2K.
-- Mac (sneak@lurk.hid), October 04, 1999.
80 in the Reno area..... scary.
-- Pam (me12345@aol.com), October 04, 1999.
90 degrees today and no rain in more than three months, hauling water to dry pasture because it is soooo much fun.
-- Love this place (Deep@DryTexas.com), October 04, 1999.
Low 80's during the day, strong trade winds (15-25 mph), with windward and mauka (upslope) showers.
