How 'bout a "Polymer"?

Websters definition: A chemical compound or mixture of compounds...

My definition: A combination (mixture) of doomer / polly. A somewhat slighlty confused individual. Someone who is hoping for the best, but not quite believing all of the happy face reports...

or "dooley" - such an individual from rural areas could be a "dooley hicky"; a male of the variety could be a "tom dooley" a female could be a "dolly."
