The Guagua Pichincha volcano in Ecuador is about to erupt and according to Reuters (sorry, I don't know how to link it to here) petroecuador is concerned that there may be damage to a 12 mile section of pipeline that is in the area of the volcano. Is this another glitch when combined with already poor Y2K preps in that country will add even more stress to that area and to the world oil supply? Just thought I would bring this to everyones attention as another important event taking place.

The likelihood that the imminent eruption of the Eduadorean volcano is caused by, or is in any way related to, Y2K or the end of the millennium (pick one or both) is zero.
