Directly to the left of your "Enter" key is a key that has 3 marks on it - two on the top, and one on the bottom. If you hit this key without having your "Shift" key depressed, you will get a ' mark. This is the appstrophe you've been looking for to separate the s's from your words instead of the , that you've been using.
