Time to go golfing!

You post, I lurk. I post, you respond. The masses are awakening. Electric plants are stocking food. Governments are preparing mortuaries. Cities such as Detroit are buying disaster relief supplies. Chemical plants are shutting down for the rollover. Medicare is going to fail. Big name retailers are selling survival items. People are being told to prep for anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks...etc...Have I prepared sufficiently? Does it even matter? The stress is overwhelming. I'm going to Myrtle Beach. It's time to go golfing!

IBM, Red Cross suggest safeguards for New Year's

A good friend of mine has an old Columbia 50 foot sloop, in cherry condition. I talked to him last weekend. He's going to be in Flordia next weekend. I think it's time to take some of those vacation days that I have.

I'm game. It might take me a good 17 holes to get my swing back...

You may want to wait a few days. Most of the fairways are still underwater.

In that case, bring goggles, flippers and shark repellent!
