I don't know about you, but MY friends are GIs...and people that I fully trust to cover my back if push comes to shove. The same with family. Mere acquaintenances, on the other hand, may need to be converted to the notion of behaving in a respectful and cooperative manner...

A stunning reply, Mad Monk.

Would you pulleeaasee put that gun down? I asked you NICELY! Don't you dare talk back to MEEE. I'm Mad Monk, and I expect you to behave in a respectful and cooperative manner. So for the LAST TIME, put the gun down and get out......

The two articles on my website with titles starting with "Warning...", "Your Y2K Priorities" one, and the "Neccessary Action Summary" piece largely cover my position on the subject. "The Grasshopper and the Ants" is instructive as well. P.A. Sorokin knew what we would be up against in this sort of situation; read his books, everybody.

Speaking of teetime, perhaps I can get one.......that ought to spare me reading threads like this for a good 4 1/2 hours anyway!
