I'd like to say 'HI' to all my friends...

over at the Gateway who are eavesdropping on my internet activities. Hey, Ralph! Hope you guys are taking this stuff seriously now. This is not a test. Even if you think you have it under control you and I are totally dependent on everyone else's ability/skill/foresight/etc to get this right (think management real hard here guys). It doesn't look that way to me and I'd suggest that you prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Don't get caught thinking it couldn't happen to you.

They're just doing their job. And so are the people that round us up and imprison us without charge, using the information gathered here, and elsewhere. They're just following orders. Same goes for the people who kill us, once, in an "emergency," we've been designated "threats" and incarcerated because after all: if we didn't do anything wrong, we wouldn't be in a concentration camp, would we?

Similarly, those others of you may object to being monitored: if you haven't done anything wrong, what do you have to worry about? Just go about your business. And don't forget to smile for the camera; we want to see HAPPY faces out there, people...
