Wow, that's a trip down memory lane ....

For the record, some of us gave Diane a pretty hard time back then for her "peace, love and brotherhood of man" attitude. One year later she's still around, still positive about humanity, and has proven to be the hardest working member of TB2000. Diane, I'm sorry I dismissed you.

I had saved the thread for offline reading. Hadn't printed it up like so many. Just finished reading it all again a few minutes ago, and wow!!!!!!!!! Look what we did. And continue to do.

(((Lovelies!)))

Thanks for the sentiment Dave.

Just a tad more cynical about the dot gov, dot mil and dot com folks n all, than I was last year!

Clearly... theyre not gonna help us get out of this global pickle were in! Feel like weve all participated in a graduate level intensive course... World 101: Ready or Not. We all should be granted Ph.D.s in recognizing piled higher and deeper.

That said... most daze the eyes still twinkle and the grin lurks.

And on the days they dont... well its then time for a walk and a caffe latte, and an amble down tree-shaded walks to spot butterflies still flitting and sniff lingeringly fragrant blooms. (Put's things in perspective).

Ill *still* bet on *most* the people, to pull together, despite all the forces that want to rip them apart. And for all else... to perdition with the blasted machines! Especially if it comes down to a choice between them and "what's important."

Gonna be a wild ride coming up soon. (Think its called global graduation day).

;-D

Diane

(Now it's time to re-read that l-o-n-g puppy!)
