Is there any way to search the archives for specific threads other than to manually scroll through thousands of post?

Don't think so. Best bet is to post your specific request & hope somebody out there can pull it up.

Do you remember any part of the title of the thread you are looking for?

I'm looking for the " No More Mr. Nice Guy" thread I originated several months ago. It seems we have a whole new crop of posters on this forum who don't have a clue what their constitutional rights actually are. Appreciate any help yall can provide in linking me to it.

And as an equally awesome Gayla/TBY2K back-up... there's Linkmeister.

You're welcome! :-) I don't know what type of system/software you are using, but under my Edit key, I have a function called "Find on this page." If you know any part of the title, type in those words and it will find it for you.

My 'find' is under the Edit button, for when Linkmeister and Gayla are busy and Brian's at the beach ;-)

the breadth of knowledge and the depths people will go to to assist that are represented here continue to amaze and delight me.

thanx to gayla et. al. for pointing out the 'find' function. most of us don't have the time (or possibly the inclination) to explore every menu item.
