I have an old singer sewing machine in the desk they came in. it`s a foot operated one. The machine itself flips up onto the desk. It`s black with gold trim. It has bobbin drawers in it. How much is it worth today??

Hi Jan, I'm sorry I don't have an answer for you but I do have a question if you wouldn't mind answering. I also have a Singer sewing machine but I can't figure out what year it was manufactured. Is there a way I can tell by the serial number on the machine?
