I was after a "dark, diffused" look with this one. My scan doesnt look as smooth as the original....Id love to hear any comments!

Mark, that is a cool image. Can you share with us where, when, and how it was created?

I took the photo of the trees in bright daylight, then printed it dark with heavy diffusion (cellophane under the enlarging lens). The moon is a dime placed on the paper before exposure. I wish that I could have diffused the moon more, so that it better matched the rest of the print. I didnt know how, as the dime was in direct contact with the paper.

Excellent! Love the concept. How about a small glob of something to hold the dime a few millimeters up from the print to create a bit of diffusion. Neat work!
