Paula's analysis is probably right on. Unfortunately, only a few seem to be listening to her shouting "fire." Any suggestion as to how we can turn additional leaders into GIs?

It may not matter at this late date, but Paula doesn't yell "FIRE!" She explains what fire is, and why if certain preventative actions aren't taken, the occupants will be toast.

We need Paula Gordon, and her work is invaluable. But her words will be heard by a few nearby in the theater.

What we needed was a President who would warn us of smoke, and then small flames. It didn't happen and now it's too late. I don't know who's going yell "fire." All I hear is "sit still for three days and the flames will burn out by themselves."

I printed it some of it out for a DGI. Good work, Paula. Thanks for all your strenuous work.

Salt and light award to Ms Paula Gordon.

If you are reading this Ms Gordon we need to conduct a nationally televised Town Hall on y2k and call the leadership to give an account of their stewardship of this nation in regards to the emerging threat to the public's welfare and life safety.

Why isnt Bulk foods and essential medical supplies being prepostioned locally. They can at least take this minimum step without publicity to prevent a famine from occuring if y2k turns out to be a several months long problem for our life and economic sustaining utilities. They dont have to broadcast their preparations but they need to seriously do it. I am helping to get a new homeless shelter built and y2k equipped before the end of the year. When I discovered in my quest to see if Fema or the local non-profit food distribution systems had some kind of program to help preposition supplies for y2k in place, there was none. This is inexcusable. They know y2k is going to be a serious problem. How can they ever face their families knowing that their in action will cause tremendous pain suffering and casulties to our fellow neigbors. They have a chance to do the right thing. It's time for them to stand up and be counted.
