No problem. I've been through a 3-5 day snowstorm, I've been through a hurricane.

I'll just go to the store the week of Christmas rather than get caught by the procrastinators the week before New Years.

There is always plenty of help that rushes in from everywhere. I talked to the Red Cross, they have plenty of cots for shelters. 250 of them, in fact.

Look, I read the papers, OK? Social Security announced they were done back in June. I saw an article about the FAA announcing that they're done as well. All those agencies have said that they're right on track to be done in time. The banks have papered their walls with "We're Y2K Ready!" C'mon, it just stands to reason. All those execs stand to lose too much money if they don't fix the systems. Y2K is gonna be no big deal. Relax.

(Gosh, this IS fun. So much simpler and easier to play Pangloss and believe that "all will be well in this best of all possible worlds...")
