Woo-Hoo!!

Hey, this is GREAT! The wife just won $1000 worth of groceries from the Red Baron Pizza Co., and we'll get it Monday...that pretty much takes care of the old "fill the pantry" routine (you know, the "wait until you have some extra cash & then go buy stuff" routine) sorry if I seem too excited about this, but it's the only thing we've ever won, and the timing couldn't be better!

Remember to ask for bulk discounts if you buy anything by the case.

Grocery stores give 5-10%, generally.

Ken,

Congratulations to you and your wife. Just don't be so elated that you pass over on the generic brands (when you can get more of them) for the more expensive brand names.

Sincerely, Stan Faryna

What's the soak time on dehydrated pizza?

Hey, this could be a great idea.

Ken, great piece of luck--I drool with envy. Absolutely, spend it very carefully, but also get a few frou-frou items--marinated artichoke hearts come to mind for some reason. Be nice if they would let you spread the purchases over, say, four weeks so you can take advantage of different weekly specials.

NTP, I believe you'll find dehydrated pizza at adventurefoods.com.

Congratulations on the windfall!

Old Git, thanks for reposting that link, it was another I lost and forgot about when my hard drive died.
