Hey Pastor Chris, nice to see you : )

I used Netscape 3.1 without any problems...but I'm on a Mac.

Am using Netscape 3.04 on a networked PC to write and post this.

Netscape 3.01 running on AIX v3.2 has no problems at my site.

Pastor;

Running NetV3.0 on a WIN311 machine, the only problem is running into some JavaScript sites that are not coded for this browser and it does not have JAVA (which I usually find to be a plus ;) Otherwise The net is my playground!

Use Netscape 3.1 on a Mac just fine. I "crash" more than it does.

Ain't no programmer, just have a logical mind. Unless there is an expiration date on Netscape 3.X (such as in a shareware or feature disable feature) what would cause it not to work? I am using Netscape 3.4 on my Mac, and have changed my master date on computer to 9/9/2000 and here I post!

I have been using Netscape 3.4 becuase it works well (some Java problems), surfs fast, lightweight (minimal RAM needed) and it DOES NOT HAVE ALL THE SNOOPY JIVE THAT GIVES AWAY YOUR PERSONAL INFO like ALL NEW Netscape and Internet Explorer versions do.

Gary North's beef (he's the one who posted this supposed Netscape "flaw" today) is that he likes the minimal footprint (little RAM needed) of the older Netscape 3.X. He wants to be able to use simpler computers and that is why he dislikes Acrobat too! I emailed him saying GET A MAC last year, but he choses to use the masses computer.

Acrobat is easy on a Mac. Netscape is easy on a Mac. Dealing with 2000 is NOT A PROBLEM other than some older versions of software. Excell and other Microsoft Software is screwed up on all platforms due to the fact that Microsoft for some unkown reason writes crappy code.

If this 9/9/2000 message does not post, then I am full of crap and you can disavow all! This will self-destruct in 7 seconds. Don-don-done- da-don-don-don-da...dodle-loo-dodle-loo (theme from mission impossible)
