Columbus Ohio Channel 4... a small burp (burb) 11:00 news (sorry no link) they showed that syndicated programs were being pre-programmed (a day before) "are you with me here? " On the OUTSIDE CHANCH-- that they would be unable to transmitt a live program. They used as their example... the Opra Wrinfry show... No guys, I am not a doomer nor a polly...just an ordinary "2 week person" but honestly...this s--t makes me, well, .... its to late to go to the store for more tuna...but DAMN!!!

Apparently, G. Gordon Liddy was having problems with the computers on his radio show yesterday. It wasn't Y2k related, but he was definitely complaining about his systems crashing.

No AP newswire, couldn't handle callers, etc. ... He started trashmouthing the station management, and then demanded answers...wondered out loud if this was what Y2k was going to be like...

However, he sarcastically mentioned that his microphone had a sticker on it that indicated that it was "Y2k compliant." The station techie came into the booth, and the G-man apparently started hurling all of these questions/complaints at him during his show. When Liddy asked how he was supposed to handle calls, the techie told him to have his sound booth person pass him 3X5 cards, LOL.
