If BC did have plans like he would never mention them in public or to friends. Come On!!! Get some more reliable sources.

-- Boz (Boz_Inc@yahoo.com), August 31, 1999.

Right! And he would never mention his exploits to Dick Morris. Right. Come on. He is a smart politician, but wisdom he lacks. The boyish, foolish part of him wants to tell others of his exploints, his power, his oneupsmanship. Clinton is a dangerous scumbag. That is reality. Know it and prepare accordingly. This does not mean that he intends to run or be in office for a third term. It just means that he cannot be trusted. All options are open. All concerns are valid.

The key factor in this kind of rumor is that it irresistably confirms the feelings of the person who chooses to pass it on. If you always *knew* Bill Clinton was like this story paints him to be, your urge to believe the story, and your urge to repeat the story, becomes overwhelming.

This is what con men know. This is just another con. It isn't factual. But lots of folks already believe there is "truth" of a kind in this lie, so they will tell the story anyway. That is how all good urban legends work.

Larry Nichols is on the radio right now.

He has tentatively identified the woman as either Linda Bloodworth Thomason or Mary Steenberg. (I accept no responsibility for spelling names correctly!)

L. Brown is quoted as saying Clinton would have the guts to do this. (He started the Kosovo thing to stay in power.)

Gorbachev is quoted as saying Bill Clinton has singlehandedly restarted the cold war.

Nichols says the Clinton wants to be king and he doesn't want to be king of nothing -- therefore he will not start a nuclear war.

Control of the working class through their 401Ks. A wobbling stock market threatens them. Will go for anything that will maintain market. Clinton use media to start a drive to keep him to save things.

This is sort of stream of consciousness, but am typing as I listen. Dick Morris on Fox is reported to have repeated statements about what Clinton would do in his third term.

He said that Clinton cannot leave office and become a private citizen where he could be prosecuted for his crimes. He MUST stay in office to avoid prison.

Both Barney Frank and someone named Dryer (?) have introduced legislation to repeal the 22nd amendment.

Excuse the "stream of consciousness". I am typing as I listen.

Nichols again:

If Bill Clinton wants to stay, it is HIS decision.

He has too much dirt on the Senate and House.

Shippers (sp?) said they rigged the Senate impeachment trial.

Trent Lott: He could rape a woman on a table and would not be convicted.

PS L. Nichols was one of Clinton's staunchest supporters; turned against Clinton, then was totally ruined by Clinton; has Turned to trying to tell people about the "real" Clinton. Over the years, he has been right most of the time.

>> Larry Nichols is on the radio right now. <<

I am not famililar with Larry Nichols, but the key questions would be:

If Mr. Nichols were to report these rumors and they were later proved to be errorneous, what would the likely consequences be? Would Mr. Nichols lose his job? Would his listeners stop listening?

Or is his show considered mainly as entertainment, as "talk" rather than as "news"?

Okay, more on Larry Nichols. The radio station I heard him on (as a guest, not a host) is small, but he remarked that he had 11 more hours of talk radio to do today, so he must be heard other places ( although I doubt if much of it is mainstream)

He was part of the Clinton team in Arkansas (privy to all the secrets) -- I believe his area of expertise is marketing. At some point before Clinton decided to run for president, Nichols decided he couldn't keep doing what he was doing for Clinton and live with himself, so he resigned.

Clinton didn't like it and apparently Nichols knew what could happen to him (suicide with a shot to the back of the head, or some such). He began to fight and managed to establish himself in such a way that his murder would prove his allegations. Therefore, the Clinton forces had to be happy with ruining him financially (he's stone broke), physically (health gone under the strain) and discrediting him as much as possible.

He does every talk show he can, charges nothing and sells nothing. He has no books to hawk. He just seems obsessed with stopping Clinton.

His latest challenge: If I have absolute proof that Clinton intends to take power for a third term, who can I get to stop him?

His answer: You! But you must be ready to give of yourself until it hurts.

I have heard him many times over the years and, whatever his motives, he seems to have a firm fix on what makes Clinton tick; he's nearly always right.

Before the flames begin: I do not know the man personally, only by reputation. I cannot rule out that he has an agenda. It is only my own observation that he seems to be truthful most of the time.

If anyone wants to enlist, I can post his phone no. But I think he expects the kind of risk-everything dedication that he has shown.

>> [Larry Nichols] does every talk show he can, charges nothing and sells nothing. He has no books to hawk. He just seems obsessed with stopping Clinton. <<

If he is human, he has to eat. The money to pursue this obsession has to be coming from somewhere.

>> His latest challenge: If I have absolute proof that Clinton intends to take power for a third term, who can I get to stop him? <<

My latest quandry: If Larry Nichols is right, then Clinton is a power-mad tyrant who is clearly prepared to do *anything* to keep power. And, assuming he is telling the truth, Larry Nichols has "absolute evidence" that this is true.

So, why would he talk *about* it but not *show* it? What on earth could he gain in the way of safety by revealing himself in possesion of such evidence, while not making full open disclosure of this evidence?

Does Larry have a death wish? Once the evidence is out in the open, once *everybody* knows, then killing Larry Nichols would have no benefit for Clinton. Until then, Larry Nichols is a massive threat.

****THIS MAKES NO SENSE TO ME**** Unless, just a hunch mind you, this "absolute evidence" doesn't actually exist, or isn't nearly as conclusive as Larry makes it out to be. Then, maybe, Larry could harm Clinton more by painting this evidence in garish words than by actually letting people *look* at it.

Kind of like a carnival barker describing the Bearded Lady. In words, she is the weirdest sight on earth. In person, she's a woman with some hair on her face.

That's all.

Hey, Brian,

Looks like its me and you, Baby! 8^)

I don't fault your suspicion. I felt that way when I first heard him. I suspect he's a little paranoid at times, but he has a fantastic track record. I don't believe everything ANYONE says, but I do perk up my ears when he comes up with something.

I am sure there is some income in the family, his wife, maybe. The thing is, it is nowhere near his previous lifestyle with an income in the six figures.

His question said: IF I have. . . I think what he wants to know is, who do you think could and would stop Clinton. So far, it seems like the answer is no one. . . That's the scary part.

This idea of his staying "forever" is not new. He has been reported to have said similar things ever since his election to a second term.

I just think it is not impossible. . .

The Texas Rangers held on to their evidence until the time was right.

Goldbug et al, as one who has been facinated with the criminal personality of Bill Clinton and has read every bit of investigative journalism available on the man (if you want to call him that) , I think there is not a doubt that if he can manage to stay in office on any availabe pretext, he will. The American Spectator and Ambrose Pritchard of the London Daily Telegraph have unearthed reams of material on the politco-criminal career of Slick. Anyone who wishes to know the truth about President Spooty can learn it. As a primer, I recommend the original Troopergate story in the Spectator. Go to their website to obtain back copies at a reasonable price.

Y2k will be taylor made as a crisis whereby emergency can be declared, elections canceled-----no computers to tabulate the vote--- and walla, he's president indefinately. And then my friends all Hell will indeed break loose for constitutionalists and other decent Americans. Bill Clinton is at once a true coward and a bitterly vindictive persuer of enemies. If you know your Shakespeare, put Lady Macbeth and Iago in the White house together and that comes pretty close to the Clintons. BTW, you can look for another major "terrorist " episode, bombing, or military activity real soon now as more comes out on flight 800 coverups and the Waco mass murders. Turns out Hillary was in the loop on Waco too. Surprise, Surprise!!!!

Le Metropole members and internet,

A highly sophisticated source has informed me that he understands that a blind trust set up for Hillary Clinton, shorted gold financial instruments just before the Bank of England gold sale announcement on May 7, 1999.

If true, it is an outrage and is further anecdotal evidence of the conspiratorial nature of the Bank of England gold sales and of the high level nature of the manipulation of the gold market. Nobody could be so lucky as to have made $100,000 on a $1,000 investment in cattle futures and then have someone else just happen to SHORT gold for them immediately prior to that extraordinary gold sale announcement.

The trading activity in a blind trust of a major public figure such as Hillary Clinton must be a matter of public record. It would be of help to the Gold Anti-Trust Action Committee if someone on the internet could help me access these records.

A matter of such sensitivity ought to warrant a statement by the Trustees and its auditors.

All the best,

Bill Murphy Chairman, Gold Anti-Trust Action Committee http://www.lemetropolecafe.com http://www.gata.org

If the Klinton's can find no other way, Hillery will announce that she is running for President. She just can't bear to pack up and move again.
