defeating patches of "blockyness" in adult vcds. : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

Hi there...

I gotten my hands on a few vcds. They are some great adult cds. unfortunately, some areas during action scenes are blocked out by an extreme distortion of huge random blocks.

Now I was wondering whether or not these could be defeated or at least where someone can point out where I can find more information

Try other VCD players if you can. If the results are the same, then those blocks were deliberately put there to prevent us seeing the birds and the bees in action. This being the case I don't think U can defeat them/turn them off.

The blockiness is due to the low resoulution that was used to make the clip to save on space. The clip probably requires it being played using a smaller viewing screen so you should reduce the size of that window. If you ever played a movie clip that come out on a small window and you maximize it you see blocky grpahics.

Japan censors adult scenes. If your adult vcd's are from Japan, then the blockiness is deliberate. Unless they are of the 'underground' type.

Some movies have two versions (i.e American movies). The cut ones have seens cut out so that they would recieve a decent rating at movie theaters (i.e. R instead of NC-17 or X). There was a site that list movies with 'cut' and 'uncut' versions.

You can purchase the "blockyness" killing machine to remove the blockyness. You can email me directly for more information.
