St.Louis and St. Francis? now what!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Your predictions were silly and irresponsible in the face of objective, mechanical, technical reality.

I disdain your impetuous crystal ball hocus pocus!

You and your types unfortunately compromise the potential seriousness of the situation by throwing in your cultish prophetic CRAP!!!

Those with a spiritual bent do not be fooled!!

Dave:

As someone who lives between St. Louis [technically Saint Louis] and St. Francis, I would appreciate an expansion on your comments so that I know what you are talking about.

Best wishes,

Dave: Thanks for posting this, I was going to do it yesterday because St. Francis said on August 17, that within 10 days there would be a DEVASTATING disaster. Well I just hope he/she doesn't make a fool out of themselves again.

St. Francis has disappeared, much as St. Louislouis did when his/her predictions proved to be wrong. Maybe a few more people will finally start taking these ridiculous predictions with a grain of salt.

Sorry, did you really think that folks considered these 100% predictions?? What an idiot !!

The answer to your question:

St.Louis and St. Francis are two individuals that feel y2k is an opportunity to expound their purported prophetic adroitness on the good people that may frequent this forum.

Much, I may add, to the compromise of this unique and frustrating phenomenom known as y2k.

You may knowhe type: channeling, spiritualists, nostradamus which has nothing to do with the subject at hand---other than lending more credibiltiy to the pollies who think we are a bunch of zealot weirdos who believe in the myth of Y2k

Well you apparently did.

Everyone likes predictions. The National Enquirer's biggest sales are when their predictions come out in December. When someone says with "authority," that something is going to happen, gives a time frame and the impact of the disaster, well it's only natural that you wait and see if it happens. The Bible has all kinds of predictions in it and I haven't seen any of it happen yet. Doesn't mean that it won't, but millions are waiting, and millions have died waiting........

Dave:

Thanks. I probably didn't read their posts.
