If you saved them to disk, you can paste them to the board. Otherwise, they are lost.

If you remember the file name(s)you can try searching your disk. It may still be in the browser cache directory.

look under "history" in your browser...you should be able to use those links to backtrack and find where it is you had been.

y2kme1,

Typically it's fastest to look at the USIA/USIS Washington File -- Latest Items (last 48 hours)

http:// www.usia.gov/products/washfile/latest.shtml

You likely lost the links because, if recent, they are now sub- catagorized here...

http:// www.usia.gov/products/washfile.htm

Look under... Items Organized by Topic (last 14 days)

 International security issues
 Economic issues
 Democracy and human rights
 U.S. society, values and politics
 Global issues and communication

Often the Y2K related reports are under Global issues and communications but not always.

If you dont find your report there, then use the search page... Searchable Database (Several years of Washington File materials) Archives...

http:// www.usia.gov/products/pdq/wfarchive.htm

Pulling up the right hit is a tad difficult. Study the Public Diplomacy Query (PDQ) Search Hints... specifically the Free Text and Natural Language Searching and the Boolean Searching tips...

http:// www.usia.gov/products/pdq/pdqhelp.htm

(It takes query structure practice to get good results).

There is also another USIA area devoted to Y2K, however they are a bit slow to link items... sometimes running a week behind.

Good luck!
