Aloha Bill and Mahalo for bringing to this forum what, as a lurker, I so very much needed. I doubt you knew what an outpouring you would receive in answer to your posting, but it goes to show doesn't it? I answered yesterday, and checked in again today out of curiosity. What I saw was something I've known in my heart all along -- wherever we fall on the scale, I believe in the human spirit to carry us on and through and forward. These were not people simply giving their stats -- these were people reaching out to touch somebody. Again, thank you for giving us the forum, and thank all of you who responded. We'll be O.K. Thank you for those kind words. I too believe if things get bad, there will be a spiritual awakening amongst most people who will realize that our survival will depend on each other. I don't want to contemplate having to deal with the potential troubles alone, and as so many have said before, we will pull together in times of trouble. We may have to figure out how to live without our technology temporarily (hope it is a short time), but by helping each other, we can pull through.

I read the infomagic post again. Just wonder what our "carring capacity" is without technology?
