If anyone has links or info on just what the top 50 corporations have spent as of this month it would be a great help. I am working on a special white paper on y2k to help get community moblization efforts in high gear. Thanks

don't sweat the top 50. merely use the number that globally we will spend about one trillion dollars in attempting to fix and about another trilion on litigation after the fact. tell them that the only event in the last century that exceeds this amount were the expenditures incurred for WWII. that tends to wake people

Mike

The disclosures for the current quarter are just comming out. Any information is "old" information at the momment.

I don't look at the amount spent, I look for the information provided.

Mind you Citigroup spent over 900 million$$$$s.

No, I think y2k aware mike is on the right track here. If you throw out numbers like 1 trillion for this and 1 trillion for that, it's too easy to dimiss as something you just pulled out of a hat. Specific numbers from particular companies... that's information you can't really just dismiss. Unless they're a hardline Pollyanna who'll say they spent it on everything but Y2K. :-)
