EVER HAD QUAIL-EGGS? *button-quail* can be raised-indoors. they,re onle 4-5 inches long.there eggs are small but nutricious.can be used in baking.good source of protien=for apt. dwellers.they can be kept in large=aquarium.and they are=INEXPENSIVE.LOOK EM-UP ON YAHOO.

Sometimes fried quail eggs are used as garnish for haute game dishes. Outrageously expensive.Interesting idea, Y2K or not. How old does a quail have to be to lay?

HI LISA, yup trier great little pets also, busy little guy,s,entertaining.but so easy to keep.& the eggs are yummy mixed with-sprouts & dehy.-eggs. i raised them years-ago in va.,kids loved -em.thier kinda like a easter chick'that never grows-up.& thier doo-doo is good for indoor-veggies.* i enjoy=FARMING-INDOORS*
