I want to store some gas and diesel fuel in 55 gallons drums and want to know if there is any need to vent the barrels and how full to fill them.

Thanks

Check out the juice Page at: http://209.52.183.182/agitator/juice_page.htm Lots of info on generators, batteries, fuel storage, etc.

http://www.4unique.com/fuel/pri/gasoline.htm Possibly best & cheapest additive for fuel storage. 1 quart treats 512 gallons cost about $27 + shipping. I've stored 880 gallons in 55 gallon drums I bought for about $5 each. Used drums are cheap because in many cased you have to pay plenty to dispose of them. Get some that have held alcohol, peanut oil, auto engine cleaner, oil by products - not sugar or water based products.
