Are you deliberately being stupid for a joke or do you actually believe there is NO compliant code anywhere?

There's lots of compliant code. What do you think companies have been doing for the past few months or years.........

Good point...I was indulging in a little hyperbole, but seriously...

With just 3 1/2 months* left, MOST organizations ought to be COMPLIANT by now. I just don't buy that cr*p about "We're done, DONE but the lawyers won't let us say so." I've seen a FEW compliance statements that claim compliance with proper hedging by the Lawyers...it can be done. I mean, it is REALLY LATE in the game, and there won't be any extra innings.

* NOTHING is going to get done in December. Senator Dodd is for once right...December is TOAST. What with Kwansaa for the Afro-American types, Hanukkah for the Jewish Calendar types, Christmas for the Gregorian calendar types, and even Saturnalia for the few (if any) surviving Julian calendar types...NOTHING of substance is going to get done.

It MUST ALL get done by Turkey Day! Talk about a day late and a Dollar short!

By the way, I am NOT a Doomer. I sincerely HOPE and PRAY that this turns out to be a 0 or a 1. The idea of Martial Law under Clinton scares me because we can TRUST him to abuse any powers he has. But on balance, we should have seen many more outfits completely finished by now!

Glad to see someone had enough testicular fortitude to make a prediction on the FY 2000 dates. After seeing the April 1st, April 6th, July 1st and just recent August 1st all go down in flames, most people have shutup about the predictions and are even pushing the TOETWAWKI date past January 1, 2000.

Dates to go, August 22nd,(GPS) September 9th (9999 problem) September 12th (Paul Milne date for first panic) October 1st (FY 2000 fed gov) January 1st (Rollover date)
