Also, using the same URL, substitute BFi in place of the Axq for another posting.

Gordon -

That's a protected board - many of us don't have the password.

Please, someone with computer expertise post a summary. I have been expecting Garry North to have dozens of posts from the conference, not so far! What happened?

Please see my website for information about the GW Y2K Conference that was held July 26 - 30 at GW University in Washington, DC. Some transcripts and comments are available now, http://www.gwu.edu/~y2k/keypeople/gordon/1999conference.

Also see Part 4 of my working White Paper on Y2K, posted 8-18-99. The Conference is referred to there. Appendix A is quotes from an exchange that includes Congressman Kucinich about the Administration's actions to date. Click on Part 4 at http://www.gwu.edu/~y2k/keypeople/gordon.

The entire conference was videotaped should be available by the end of August at http://www.y2kapproaches.com/real/pgordon.htm. The process of posting the videos may begin as soon as August 21. Support for the conference and the videotaping was received from the Nathan Cummings Foundation.

Thanks for all of the info Paula.

I loved Cong. Kucinich's last comment. Maybe by November we can have legislation go through when everyone will be worried about the problem then.

We are so screwed.

Paula -

Many, many thanks for all your hard work on this essentially thankless task. I suspect that some of your colleagues and others have been less than kind in their comments. Thanks from one greying IS guy who needs all the supporting docs he can find on the very real risks posed by Y2K.
