Make that: Do you feel more or less stressful as Y2K approaches?

Regards,
Andy Ray

I feel more stressful when YOU approach MORON.

Hey Clueless

If you're too damn dense to figure it out for yourself, nobody here is the least bit interested in your stupid little games. Bugger off asshole!

Your brains a shame!

The less a man makes declaritive statements, the less apt he is to look foolish in retrospect.

That's a pretty declarative statement, zoobie. ;o)

Andy Ray go away.

Oh yes, please, delete!

"A man is likely to mind his own business when it is worth minding. When it is not, he takes his mind off his own meaningless affairs by minding other people's business.

This minding of other people's business expresses itself in gossip, snooping, and meddling, and also in feverish interest in communal, national and racial affairs. In running away from ourselves we either fall on our neighbor's shoulder or fly at his throat."

Delete please. If the the "delete key" is still working, this makes 3 requests.

-- RUOK (RUOK@yesiam.com), August 01, 1999.

I'm not so much stressed as SAD for those individuals who refuse to prepare, and who actively discourage others from preparing. Even worse are those government officials who have preparations for themselves and their families, but discourage others...

-- Mad Monk (madmonk@hawaiian.net), August 01, 1999.

I wouldn't delete. If this were someone else other than Andy Ray, the question would be answered seriously. People are asking to delete this because they don't like Andy Ray's "take" on Y2K. They want to censor Andy Ray himself. But the question alone is valid.

You must mean THIS post:

"I am not sure who is posting over at the Hysterium using my alias, or variations thereof. I am, I must admit, flattered by all the attention some rather neutral questions have garnered; and interpret all the fuss to indicate I am reaching into the heart of the matter for many doomers, while educating a growing number of neutral observers there as to the lunacy present on that side of the argument.

The code snippet - of which I condemn its use in another thread here due to its disruptive effect and basic squelching of a civilised debate - was copied and pasted from the source to a reply to one of my posts. Someone used this at the Hysterium in one of my threads in a an attempt to undermine (I suppose) my position, or at least hinder people's ability to respond to my questions (I have a hard time understanding doomer modis operandi, but I am learning so much more observing the antics than mere written responses could ever teach me)." -- Andy Ray (on a sane forum)

Yes, I agree that EVERYONE including newbies should see what really goes on behind the scenes here.
