There is no need to engage in speculation about the cause of the destruction of John Kennedy Jr.'s airplane and the deaths of all on board.

WITHHOLDING OF INFORMATION

There is PROOF that significant facts are being withheld from the public. The withholding of this information CLEARLY PROVES official coverup regarding the cause of the plane's destruction. These facts, when considered in relation to each other give rise to the inescapable conclusion that the TRUE cause of the crash was deliberate, NON- ACCIDENTAL, hostile destruction of the aircraft. The proven COVERUP now in effect regarding these facts makes such a conclusion all the more certain.

THE 9:39 PM RADIO CONTACT -- EVERYTHING "A-OK"

A UPI article datelined Aquinnah, Mass July 17 stated that Kennedy radioed the Martha's Vineyard flight controller at 9:39 PM the evening of July 16. The UPI article notes that WCVB-TV Boston reported this crucial information, as did ABC News.

At the time of this radio contact all conditions in terms of the craft, weather and pilot were fine. Kennedy was well aware of his position, location, distance from land and all other such data. He was calm and in complete control of the flight and his craft. Interesting then that seconds after this call Kennedy's plane was hurtling straight down into the sea.

This crucial information was reported by those news services noted and others on Saturday July 17 and early Sunday, July 18. By Monday morning July 18, ALL MENTION of this critically important communication had been ERASED from mass media accounts of the disaster. Simultaneously and suspiciously, on July 18 FAA and NTSB officials produced some "newly found" radar "evidence" which supposedly showed Kennedy's flight exhibiting signs of difficulties and irregularities at a time well BEFORE Kennedy made his radio contact, at which time all conditions were fine. THAT'S WHY all mention of this radio contact has been EXPUNGED from "official" accounts

THE WEATHER--EXCELLENT!

Weather radar images from 10:40 PM Friday July 16, a mere hour after the time Kennedy's plane was destroyed, PROVE CONCLUSIVELY that weather conditions that evening at Martha's Vineyard were NEARLY PERFECT--with almost NO atmospheric humidity, moisture or "HAZE" registering on radar at all.

SEE FOR YOURSELF! DON'T be bamboozled by big lie tactics and endless repetitions of "pilot error" due to "very thick haze". NOT TRUE! The images are reproduced at the following website -- http://members.xoom.com/flashradar/JFK.htm

For this particular image being referred to, scroll all the way down to the BOTTOM of the page, to the UPPER of the two color images at the bottom. The image has the caption -- "OKX-NEW_YORK_CITY This radar image shows the equipment was set for "CLEAR"; which in fact is much more sensitive to moisture than the "PRECIPITATION" setting.

Although it shows substantial haze in the NYC and central Long Island areas, the region around Martha's Vineyard shows LITTLE OR NO atmospheric moisture at all; a scant hour after Kennedy's plane was destroyed.

Plus his last radio contact indicated no problems or "disorientation" of ANY KIND! Overall light pollution from Martha's Vineyard as has been noted recently by residents make it even more unlikely Kennedy was the LEAST BIT disoriented.

So we can scratch that bunch of disinformation that says Kennedy supposedly crashed his plane in haze so thick he couldn't even see the tremendous amount of light pollution emanating from Martha's Vineyard only a few miles away.

Yeah, RIGHT!

THE PILOT

John Kennedy Jr. was an extremely accomplished pilot who had at least SEVENTEEN YEARS familiarity with flying an aircraft. This information and other crucial facts regarding Kennedy's COMPETENCY as a pilot were relayed by Kennedy's federal flight licensing instructor in Vero Beach, Fla.; mr. John McColgan.

McColgan called Kennedy an EXCELLENT pilot with many HUNDREDS of hours flying experience who had flown since 1982.

McColgan noted that just recently Kennedy had completed training for getting his INSTRUMENT FLIGHT RATING: he just had not actually taken the test yet.

ALL flight instructors who actually KNEW JFK Jr. and had firsthand knowledge of his abilities as a pilot described him as an excellent pilot who was exceptionally cautious and completely unwilling to take risks.

The ongoing, slanderous media blitz claiming Kennedy was woefully inexperienced pilot who had no business flying around at night in impenetrable haze is nothing but UTTER lies and disinformation.

Kennedy's radio contact with airport personnel and content thereof at 9:39 all but invalidate such claims of pilot error as the cause of the disaster. THE PLANE

The plane has been found to mechanically sound according to preliminary reports from crash investigators. . In general this craft is considered one of the safest private planes in the sky.

This particular Piper Saratoga was in excellent condition and outfitted with the very latest in hi-tech equipment, including auto-pilot and automatic electronic emergency tracking systems. The plane has been described as literally able to fly itself. By all indications it was a pussycat to fly; certainly for a pilot with Kennedy's SOLID qualifications.

And by the way, if some mechanical malfunction HAD been responsible for the aircraft's precipitous drop from the sky, can anyone imagine a BETTER place to be than at a fairly low altitude over calm water and fairly close to land? It seems very reasonable to assume that a pilot with a total of 17 years flying experience, as Kennedy's federal licensing instructor John McColgan of Vero Beach Florida has stated Kennedy had, would be able to make (or at leas ATTEMPT) a soft landing on the surface of the water.

THE WITNESSES

At least three people who were on or near Philbin Beach on Martha's Vineyard the evening of July 16 at around 9:40 PM report seeing and in one case hearing an explosion in the air in the exact sector of the sky where radar shows Kennedy's plane hurtled towards the sea. NOT an explosion on the surface of the water but IN THE AIR. The relatively clear air and good visibility as PROVEN by weather radar data make it CERTAIN that they were NOT mistaken about the altitude of the explosion. This explosion was described by one witness, a reporter for the Martha's Vineyard Gazette, as a "BIG WHITE FLASH IN THE SKY!" ..

THE CONCLUSION

SO. We have good visibility with little or no haze, a perfect flight according to Kennedy's radio contact at 9:39, no mechanical problems with a highly reliable craft according to preliminary investigative reports and other data, an excellent pilot actually able to fly with instruments flying low and close to land in good weather conditions with good visibility over calm water (no storms, etc.), and THEN... a plane hurtling into the sea SECONDS AFTER Kennedy's "A-OK" radio contact" was completed, as well as EYEWITNESSES on nearby Philbin Beach to an airborne explosion at this same time.

The circle of proof is complete. Kennedy's craft intentionally was destroyed in mid-air.

HI- I actually agree pretty much with Bill and have never claimed I knew exactly what happened. What I DO know is that we are NOT getting the truth from "officials" and the mass media. And really... let's not mince words or be coy. That can ONLY mean that the cause of the crash was intentional, hostile targeted destruction.

I have also made note of the exact same MASSIVE discrepancies and conflicts between official babble and the real facts as Cooper has. Kennedy called the airport at 9:39. Radar shows his plane dropping like a boulder seconds after this call. Eyewitnesses on the Vineyard saw an airborne explosion at around this time. Mechanical problems have been ruled out. Kennedy was a good pilot with 17 years flying experience, according to his federal flight licensing instructor John McColgan of Vero Beach Fla. McColgan said Kennedy had HUNDREDS of hours flying experience and in fact had already QUALIFIED for his Instrument FLight Rating, just hadn't actually taken the test.

Good catch andy, I suspected foul play from day one. My friends inside the company says this one is fishy. No, I do not see any parallel between the loss of JFK Jr and Y2K.

Re. JFK Jr, I think the media overdid the coverage of an event that occured and had to stretch and fill time in the absence of very little facts.

Re Y2K, I think the media is ignoring an abundance of facts about an event that is yet to occur. Maybe because they are afraid of looking stupid later, but more likly because the other media outlets aren't yet giving Y2K its due.

What would be the effect if national media gave Y2K the same coverage as JFK Jr or Monica or O.J.???? Media events are mostly trivial so as not to offend the broadest amount of viewers while Y2K quickly offends everyone either due to the GI's awarenes and concern for potential impacts or the DGI/DWGI unwillingness to consider it.

I expect the answer is that the media is primarily concerned about revenues and their own studies show they can sell more advertising by playing up the trivial and downplaying Y2K. I am unsure as to a real conspiracy when just a group of business pursuing their own interests will suffice to explain the observed conditions.

Bill P--why did the media "have" to fill any time at all, let alone the amount of time they did, with such a small amount of facts? My theory is this: to saturate us with so much gibberish that we wouldn't care to hear anything more about it! Any time I bring up some new tidbit to my husband, he really doesn't want to hear it. So tell me Andy, do you also read the Weekly World News each week? Sightings is the web equivilant. It is amazing how you can tell which reports are real and which reports are not. Why are the flight instructor reports that he was a good flier so much more believiable than those that say he wasn't?

I also talked with a commercial airline pilot who is a friend of mine and my father who has a private pilots license. Well guess what their conclusions were....pilot error. Before the reports even came out they both had a theory on what happened, guess what, all evidence points to them being right...IT WAS PILOT ERROR! DEAL WITH IT!

TOYB: I guess it's just easier to to believe what all the "mainstream" media has to say about it!! You know, sheep led to the slaughter & all that!! I prefer to think for myself & have been reading (& thinking) a lot. And many of the things I am now reading are things I have thought. For instance: why in the world did it take 4 days to find the wreckage when JFK, Jr.'s plane was on radar moments before the crash? (then in supreme irony, it only took the powers that be 4 hours to autopsy 3 people.....amazing!!!) Another good one: JFK,Jr. was a Catholic & I myself growing up Catholic know that it's a no-no to be creamated. Why was he? Also, why was the wreckage found many miles from where it should have been found? Radar reports & JFK, Jr.'s own last transmission to air traffic control put the probable crash site far removed from where it was actually found. See my post about pollies/trolls. Here is what we know:

The plane is similar to the old "Cherokee Six" which is a very reliable aircraft. It's counterpart in a car would be a Chevy suburban. It is a pussycat to fly and you would virtually have to force it into a stall.

It was equipped with a radar transponder that would transmit a 4- digit ID code and the altitude to any enquiring approach control radar. That's how they identified the plane and its very rapid descent,5,000 feet in a minute or two(Similar to TWA 800).

The Textron/Lycoming 6-cylinder engine has had some trouble with wrist pin caps coming loose and taking out the engine in flight. Even if it did, the plane could ahve gone into a slow glide and made a soft-water landing.

There was no mayday or voice radio communication indicating trouble. The plane had a 406 mhz satellite distress beacon which woukld have notified FAA at once along with exact latitude and longitude. This device must be activated by the pilot. It is not automatic. This leads one to believe that there was a sudden and catastrophic occurence leaving no time for calls for assistance.

The fact that a severed wheel and a headrest have been retrieved indicate the airframe and cabin are disentegrated. Even if the plane had made a hard-water crash, the wings would have been torn off but the landing gear and the cabin,though crumpled, should be intact. When the Challenger went down, the cabin was intact as were the the bodies.

Although JFK did not file a flight plan, he could have been under close surveillance(as Diana was in her final days) and a plan for his elimination could have been on the shelf waiting for implementation. It is rumored that the NWO will kick in at Y2k and they are slowly eliminating any personages who could rally the country to prevent the takeover.

The rapid descent and no distress call are consistent with a stinger or sidewinder shootdown or an on-board bomb with a descending- altuitude pressure trigger(He was descending and on approach to the yard)

It seems strange that Clinton has not already dispatched Navy salvage vessels which easily locate the wreckage. It is perhaps they are somewhere crashing a similar plane to have "Wreckage" to bring up that doesn't show missile or bomb damage.

This event is very strange. The plane was brand new, equipped with every conceivable device and there was no turbulence, rain or gusty winds."

Since my theories on what happened to the Kennedy brothers in the 60's (including Teddy's little "mishap") all revolve around Richard Nixon, no I don't. (Not going to give you all my theories, but why were two Nixon aids seen on the Grassy Knoll prior to the parade pointing to where Kennedy was shot?)

I don't have on blinders thank you. I believe in conspiracies surrounding the Kennedy Boys of the 60's, but not of John Jr.. As for the rest of life, yes I believe there was a UFO crash at Roswell, I do not buy the official story of TWA Flight 800 and I believe to much forxe was used at Waco. These are just SOME Of my thoughts on conspiracies, I have earned my decoder ring thank you very much. So now I believe I have the right to think what I want on John Jr.. Oh, as for the cremation, I believe it was in 1989 (I may be off by a year or so, but it was right in that area) the Vatican OK'ed cremation.

I didn't assume you were a polly/troll, but am not surprised. Was just making the observation that it doesn't take much energy to follow the crowd (the mainstream press, i.e., you don't have to really think, just let them spoon feed you) nor to say you don't believe y2k will cause much of a commotion (i.e., then who needs to prepare? just sit back, relax & all's right w/ the world!! Wow, another mainstream press, spoon fed idea?). So, again, I'm not really surprised. It's a "mindset" sorta thing.

And as for the rest of my comments, none of them were touched on by you except the cremation one (which I might add is after the fact of all my other comments anyway, i.e., location of crash and the "speed" with which the wreckage was found, you know, taking into account all of our modern technology & all & the undoubtedly detailed autopsies the doctors must have been able to perform on 3 people in, what, 4 hours?). I may be wrong about cremation & the Catholic church now, I got out of it a long time ago, but when I was in it, it was "against the law" so to speak. That still doesn't explain away the other discrepancies.

Seeing as I have never conducted an autopsy, and I doubt you have either, I do not think either of us are qualified to really comment on that. And your post is also the first I have heard the number "4 hours"

Barry Chamish, an Israeli Journalist writes the following about JFK JR. in his article on the assassination of Rabin and the price many have paid for talking about it.

First the excerpt related to JFK Jr.:

So now what do we do about the information coming out on the explosion of JFK Jr.'s plane? That Barak had an interest in preventing Kennedy from finding out the truth of Rabin's murder. And on and on and deeper and deeper.

Will I pursue this line? Is this beyond my intention of reforming my nation and finally reaching the ugly point of wrecking it...Of feeding every anti-semite's wildest fantasies...Of justifying every anti-Zionist diatribe ever written...Of handing our Arab enemies the very weapon they've been seeking to crush us into the sand???????

I've always believed that truth is good by its nature and a lie is bad by its. I've suffered losses by pursuing one truth: what really happened to Yitzhak Rabin on Nov.4/95. I cannot make the same living from my conventional business writing because of Rabin. My family life is much tenser than it would have been without Rabin. The Human Price Of Rabin's Truth

My work is a burden. I know too much. I'm paying a price now and it can only get costlier. Three and a half years ago I wrote about Israel from two perspectives: the very positive, glorifying my country's achievements in various trade magazines read mostly by gentiles, and the very negative: exposing Israeli political corruption in my own publication Inside Israel, read mostly by Jews. The idea was to clean up our political system so I would only have to write about our achievements.

Then in November, 1995 Yitzhak Rabin was murdered and I quickly gathered proof that our government told not a word of truth about the real circumstances of his demise. And for this I was vilified in the Israeli media, and twice, ugly protests disrupted my lectures. My family was forced to read front page newspaper accounts of my fictional life: I was a Holocaust denier, a member of organized crime, a follower of Rabbi Kahane (THE number one crime of the Israeli media), and worse.

But I could almost count myself lucky. My partner in Inside Israel, Joel Bainerman, flew to Washington in 1992 to research his book on the Bush era, Crimes Of A President. Before anyone else, he reported on the Clinton/Bush cocaine ring run through the airport at Mena, Arkansas. He was the first to reveal the murder of Amiram Nir, a senior advisor to Shimon Peres and a major player in Iran Contra. He blew the lid off the involvement of Peres and Rabin in all that was Iran Contra: arms for hostages, drugs for money for guns for control.

While in Washington an "admirer" gave him a gift: a necktie. He even fit it around his neck. That very night, Joel's neck swelled so frighteningly that he called his wife to tell her something was wrong. Four months later he had cancer in the glands of his neck which spread throughout the lymphatic system.

Adir Zik is my compatriot in exposing the Rabin conspiracy. Because of his newspaper column and radio show, he reaches far more people than I do. He, more than anyone else, exposed the involvement of Israel's Secret Service, the Shabak, in the murder. Two months ago he called me to say throat cancer was discovered. He would have to undergo immediate surgery. I only hope that he makes the same kind of recovery Joel did.

There are dead victims of Rabin, and there are innocent people wallowing in prison. Arnold and Marilyn Cytryn are two American Israelis who resemble, as Joel noted, "My uncle and aunt." They came to Israel to live free lives as proud Jews and Israelis. Then in 1995 their son Shmuel was arrested and placed in solitary confinement by the Shabak for over four months. To this day he doesn't know the charges against him. We now understand why he went through the torture. In September, two months before the Rabin assassination, he publicly identified the provocateur Avishai Raviv as a Shabak plant. This could not be tolerated, because in November, Raviv played a central role in Rabin's murder, whether witting or not.

So two nice retired Jewish folks, had to undergo an agony few of us can begin to fathom: wondering if their son would survive prison isolation for no crime whatsoever. His "crime" was fingering a murderous snitch.

But he was luckier than one David Newman, who made the fatal error of befriending Raviv. Within a week of Rabin's murder he was dead, a suicide they said. He was the only son of a widow, I'm informed, totally broken by her loss and just too worn down to pursue her suspicions of foul play.

As for me, here I am writing this in good health. I merely have to suffer harassment. I was interviewed by three American radio programs today. My line was cut off in the middle of all three. If anyone tells me it was all a coincidence, I'll walk away. I've had it hearing that statistical impossibility is explainable by coincidence.

For five years my family and I lived in relative tranquility in a place called Bet Shemesh. Then a pervert built a house behind us where there shouldn't have been a house. Every morning at the crack of dawn he would wake us all with the barking of his dogs. No appeal to him would stop the noise. Then he devoted his life to isolating us from our neighbors. Then we were victimized by vandalism, theft, threats and soon police complaints. We are certain he was planted to harass us and the tension did its job on my family in ways that could have broken us up at any time.

So we moved and it turns out our new neighbors are listening at our windows, photographing us, spreading rumors etc. etc. And we just don't know why. I'm no saint, and am a product of America circa late Sixties. The neighbors appear to be snooping to find a moment when they can publicly humilate me and my family. My wife is at a loss to explain why we have been putting up with exactly the same neighborly mischief for four straight years.

And I'm not even mentioning the opened and lost mail, the passport that couldn't be issued, the men with cellular phones standing in the street outside our home at 3 AM, friends who keep their distance because of perceived danger, the sudden difficulty in knowing who to trust...And worst of all, the feeling that the stakes could be raised at any time.

Because I have established a reputation, as Haaretz wrote on its front page recently, as "the leading researcher of the Rabin assassination conspiracy theory," people, at great risk to themselves put powerful documentation in my hands. In the past two weeks I have received the army records of Rabin's bodyguard Yoram Rubin, his driver on the night of the murder, Menachem Damti and of the State Pathologist who lied about Rabin's wounds, Dr. Yehuda Hiss. And I received a copy of Dr. Hiss's banned report, with all its lies and accidental, shocking truth intact within. When added to my hundreds of pages of police reports, hospital records, court protocols, private testimonies, I have built an airtight case that the convicted assassin did not do the deed.

The problem is I know who did. In February 1996, journalist Yehoshua Meiri told me who did it and why. I arranged to have his claims videotaped. So certain was he of his information, that he tracked Joel down in England to let him know the facts. Meiri insisted that Peres organized the murder with the connivance of the French government and secret services. He said the Americans and British were furious and unless Peres abandoned his French allies "all Hell would break out here." Which is just what happened as Israel was bled by suicide bombers within a week.

Yet, for a long while I followed the wrong trail, to America. The evidence I had gathered proved Rabin was rebelling against his American controllers during the last two months of his life and that Ehud Barak had made sinister alliances with the same gang at the Council For Foreign Relations that was becoming progressively less satisfied with Rabin's independence. It looked like a motive for murder, but I had to admit that new information pointed to France.

A French journalist, Pierre Lurcat, reminded readers in his Jewish student paper, that President Mitterand had once faked his own assassination in a scandal that haunted him his whole career called the Observatoire Affair. The sympathy which arose from the phoney murder attempt vaulted Mitterand's career to the top. Lurcat claimed Peres and Mitterand discussed how to do the same thing for Rabin to save his failing peace process with the PLO. Pierre told me, "I was only using my logic, I had no solid evidence. Then the authorities came down so hard on me and the newspaper that I surmised I got it right. I was a law student at the time, I'm an attorney now, and the French media turned me into a lunatic."

Then I was reminded that Peres ally, the secretive French media mogul, Jean Frydman financed the rally where Rabin was murdered. And that Shabak chief Carmi Gillon spent the night of the assassination in Paris. And then there was that bizarre incident in early 1996 when Jacques Chirac went bananas in the Old City of Jerusalem. Peres had sent Yoram Rubin, everybody's prime suspect as Rabin's downfall, to guard Chirac. His French bodyguards informed him who he was and Chirac ran to the nearest reporters nearly crying that he did not need Israeli bodyguards. That he'd feel safer with Arab guards protecting him.

People ask me, "Why are you still alive?" more than "How are you?" Until now I've answered, "Because I know who did it and I'm not saying." Well, now I'm saying it. I'm on the trail to France. If I'm on a hit list, it won't make a difference anymore. It's murderama time in this world.

As a result of my Rabin work gaining credibility in certain informed circles, I am sent the lowdown on other political murders. For four years now the world has slept while William Colby decided to abandon his hot dinner and take a final canoe ride, while Vince Foster chose to crawl on his back so his suit would fill up with carpet fibers and then shoot himself in a park, while Sonny Bono hit a tree and his body lay unnoticed on a busy ski trail for three hours, while the only FBI agents to die in Waco were four former Clinton bodyguards, while Ron Brown felt it would be a swell idea to shoot himself in the head then land in Bosnia for dramatic effect, while a surviving stewardess and air traffic controller decided to follow him to the great beyond a few hours later, while French police just couldn't locate that sneaky Fiat Uno which waited for Diana's car in the tunnel, while a Clinton intern died in a Starbucks holdup where no money was taken, while the President felt impelled to rush back from a holiday to Washington on the night his pretty adviser to the deaf met her demise, and on and and on. Clearly, it is a rather fatal idea to get to know the President from too close up.

When his bloodlust wasn't satisfied at home, he helped conjure up some excuses abroad. The hapless bombing of a pharmaceutical factory in Sudan just didn't do it for him, so a futile exercise against Iraq settled him down for a few days. But the thirst to kill just kept coming back to its master, so a phoney humanitarian war in Kosovo helped calm the nerves. Next on his list is Israel, and my leaders will do all they can to help him out.

There is murder in the air in Israel. Former Interior Minister Arieh Deri suffered a loss a while back, when after his wife's adoptive mother refused to sign an affadavit testifying that she gave him all the money he was accused of stealing from the Israeli Treasury, she was run over by an employee of one of his cronies. Rabin's Deputy Defence Minister Motta Gur committed suicide because of his cancer. Only his doctor told reporters his cancer was cured. Two of Rabin's bodyguards also committed suicide. One of them Yoav Kuriel, did so by shooting himself in the chest seven times. A very persistent suicide.

And I found this out because friends of the person who prepared his body for burial contacted me. To prove the story was accurate, I was faxed Kuriel's death certificates. He died of nothing and no one identified his body. Now did I really need to know this? All I intended to do was investigate the murder of one human prime minister and before I knew it, I was tracking down serial killers. Jewish serial killers. In my country. One may be living next door to me.

During the Yom Kippur War, I looked at photos of Israeli prisoners of war in American news magazines and became a Zionist. I vowed to do my part for my people. I moved to Israel, joined the army, fought in a war and defended my country. And now I'm gathering indisputable, unarguable proof that the leaders of the country I risked my life for are tangled up in murder, either promulgating it, or covering it up.

So what's an honest Israeli journalist supposed to do? Most Jews would say, cover it up like everyone else. If you don't, you will endanger Israel's security. That may be true in the very short term, but over time we won't outlast the moral rot. The behaviour of my leaders has nothing whatsoever to do with Judaism or Zionism as the Israeli people understand it. They have to be exposed and purged. Then the good Jews will set things right. That is precisely the view of hundreds of thousands of my fellow Israelis and their support, I receive dozens of letters of encouragement on a good day, is why I have carried on this far.

U.S. To Pay $16 Million For Film Of Kennedy Murder Updated 11:21 AM ET August 3, 1999

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. government must pay the heirs of the late Abraham Zapruder $16 million for his 26-second film of President John F. Kennedy's assassination, a special arbitration panel ruled by a 2-1 vote Tuesday.

The award was near the midpoint between the $30 million sought by the Zapruder family and the $1 million offered by the U.S. Justice Department for the original film taken as Kennedy's motorcade moved through Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963.

At issue in the case was the amount of compensation for the film made by Zapruder, a Dallas dress manufacturer who died in 1970, near the famous grassy knoll in Dealey Plaza.

The family retained the rights to the film, which was made by Zapruder with his home movie camera, throughout the years. The two sides decided to have a three-member arbitration panel decide the dispute.

A piece of the film was used by film director Oliver Stone in his 1991 movie "JFK." In 1998 the Zapruder family licensed the film to MPI Home Video, which released a video of it commercially.

According to federal law, the film became public property when it was transferred a year ago to the JFK Records Collection at the National Archives.

The government is required by the Constitution to pay "just compensation" to the owners of private property that has been taken for the public good.

The panel was led by Arlin Adams, a lawyer in Philadelphia and a former federal judge. The other members were former top Justice Department official Walter Dellinger and Kenneth Feinberg, a Washington, D.C., lawyer and law professor.

Dellinger disagreed with the other two members of the panel, saying $16 million was "simply too large an amount." He would have awarded between $3 million and $5 million.

The panel's decision cannot be appealed, the Justice Department said.

The announcement of the award had been expected in July, but was delayed after the death of the president's son, John F. Kennedy Jr., in a plane crash July 16 in the waters off Martha's Vineyard, two Justice Department officials said.

One official said it would have been insensitive and inappropriate to announce the Zapruder film decision while family members were mourning John F. Kennedy Jr.'s death.

Of particular note is his recounting that Newsweek's July 26 edition ORIGINALLY had a feature article about the fact Kennedy was set to announce his candidacy for the NY Senate race. After the crash--for SOME reason--this issue was recalled, destroyed and a fill-in issue put out which had SOME, but not a lot, of coverage regarding the crash. Even THIS issue however, does provide a SOLID indication that Kennedy was on the brink of political involvement at the national level, on page 52, last paragraph on the page in the article Huddling Against History.

Part 5: The crash of John F. Kennedy Jr's aircraft and the indications of a cover-up.

Having established that the government and the media have a prior (and quite deplorable) record of deliberate lies to the public, let us look at how the official story of the crash of John F. Kennedy Jr's plane evolved, and why it is suspect.

As first reported by United Press International, John F. Kennedy Jr. on approach to Martha's Vineyard in 8 mile visibility, was in radio contact with the ground, calmly informing them of his intentions to drop off a passenger before proceeding to Hyannis airport. Then, according to ABC News, JFK Jr's plane went into a steep dive, and crashed.

However, even before the wreckage was found, the story being put out in the media began to change. Gone was the previously reported radio conversation a calm JFK Jr. had with ground personnel just before the plane fell out of the sky, replaced by a declaration from the NTSB that JFK Jr. had not used his radio at all as he approached Martha's Vineyard. Gone also was the originally reported 8 mile visibility while the media began to hammer home the claim that Martha's Vineyard had been totally blanketed with a haze so heavy that pilots in the air would have been blind.

No sooner were the various stories put out but they quickly fell apart.

Here are some examples.

PROPAGANDA: JFK Jr. was lost.

FACT: When JFK Jr. radioed controllers on the Cape (as reported on Boston TV News) to announce his approach to Martha's Vineyard, radar showed him to be just where he stated he was and at the correct altitude for the approach.

PROPAGANDA: JK Jr. was in "over his head".

FACT: JFK Jr's conversational tone on the radio reveals that he was calm. He was not disoriented. He didn't ask for directions. He didn't indicate he had any problem at all. He clearly was confident he was going to find the airport and land.

PROPAGANDA: JFK Jr. stalled the plane.

FACT: The radar track shows that he was well above stall speed.

PROPAGANDA: JFK Jr. went into a steep turn and lost hi horizon.

FACT: There is no reason for JFK Jr. to have been in any turn at all at that point on the flight path leading into the airport. He was already lined up with the main runway at Martha's Vineyard airport.

PROPAGANDA: JFK Jr. didn't know his altitude and simply "flew into the ocean".

FACT: The radar track shows him flying at the proper altitude, then (as ABC News put it) "falling out of the sky".

PROPAGANDA: JFK Jr. lost his instruments, and that is why he could not handle the dark and hazy (?) conditions

FACT: The fact that the radar was getting good data from his encoding altimeter proves his instruments were operating.

PROPAGANDA: JFK Jr. would have lost his artificial horizon if the vacuum pump failed in the aircraft.

FACT: MSNBC is the only media outlet to have tried to hype this one, using a self-proclaimed "aviation expert". His claim is also false, as there is a backup vacuum system in the pitot assembly of that aircraft.

PROPAGANDA JFK Jr. was a reckless pilot.

FACT: This claim was planted everywhere in the media, always attributed to an "unnamed source". One reporter, Cindy Adams at the New York Post, later had cause to suspect she had been lied to. So did Andrew Goldman at the New York Observer. Interviews with individuals directly familier with JFK Jr's flying ability shown on Inside Edition confirmed that he was a highly skilled and careful pilot.

PROPAGANDA JFK Jr's wife was afraid to fly with him.

FACT: Again a story attributed to "unnamed sources", and again debunked by the interviews shown on Inside Edition. JFK Jr's wife had no problem flying with JFK Jr. and flew with him often.

PROPAGANDA JFK Jr. had only 40 hours experience.

FACT: He had 40 hours in that one aircraft. His total experience was about 300 hours, more than enough to qualify him for a commercial pilot's license. According to FAA statistics, 300 hours made him a more careful and safer pilot than one with 1000 hours, who is more complacent.

PROPAGANDA The weather was very hazy.

FACT: The FAA issued VFR weather conditions that night, and the weather report (mentioned in the UPI story) called for 8 mile visibility. One witness on shore reported that there was very little haze and that standing on the shore, he could see airplanes out over the ocean on approach to the island, proof that airplanes on the approach could see the shore. This claim is backed up not only by the weather report of 8 mile visibility, but by a weather satellite image taken at about the time of the crash. This radar image is showing haze and fog along New York and Long Island (if this radar image were of clouds, the FAA would not have declared VFR flying conditions that night) but none at all at Martha's Vineyard.

PROPAGANDA: Martha's Vineyard is very dark and won't show through the haze.

FACT: That may have been true only a few months ago. However, as evidenced by a Letter to the Editor of the Martha's Vineyard Times just days after the JFK Jr. crash, new lights installed on the island, lights that point up in the sky, are so bright they are drawing complaints from island residents.

That the Kennedy family has been the target of political assassination is a part of the American political landscape. It's a given.

That cover-ups surrounded the deaths of Kennedys is also a given.

That our government lies to us, with the media's help, is a given.

There is good cause to assume we are being lied to yet again.

The Weather That Night.

Weather Radar Shows Clear Skies.

Weather radar image taken 10:40 PM the night of the crash. The radar was set for "clear", a much more sensitive setting than "precipitation" which tracks rain. That this radar image is showing fog and haze as opposed to clouds is proven by the fact that the FAA had listed conditions as VFR with 8 mile visibility for the area.

This radar image shows fog and haze along New York and Long Island, but Martha's Vineyard is definatly in clear air.

There was no heavy haze.

NEW! The on again off again beacon.

The very first night the aircraft carrying JFK Jr. vanished, there were early reports of an emergancy beacon being detected, but detected quite a dstance away from where the plane's wreckage was actually found.

From the initial UPI story, we get the following odd comment.

An emergency beacon thought to belong to the plane was activated and heard by the Coast Guard in Long Island, N.Y., at 3:40 a.m. But as the search went on, authorities seemed to discount the relevance of the beacon signal.

Was another plane down in the area that night? If not, then the beacon has to be relative.

Kurt Hartman, spokesman for the U.S. Coast Guard's district headquarters in New Haven, Conn., said this morning, "We received a call from our district office in Boston directing us to conduct a shoreline search off Horton Point, in Long Island Sound, for an emergency locating transmitting beacon."

But by 10:30 a.m., the Coast Guard was no longer receiving a signal from the emergency beacon that was believed to be on Kennedy's small plane.

Here we find that the beacon that has the Coast Guard ordering a search in the WRONG LOCATION simply switches goes away. The source of that beacon has never been identified.

For those critical first few hours, this beacon had searchers looking in the wrong place. Then it simple went away.

FOOTNOTE: The July 26th, 1999 issue of Newsweek

Just days prior to his death, NBC Dateline hinted that JFK Jr. was considering an entry into politics, and mentioned that a story to that effect was to be published in the July 26th, 1999 issue of NEWSWEEK.

NEWSWEEK recalled that issue from the distrubutors, and had them destroyed. CNN ran a story claiming that NEWSWEEK planned to change covers and re-distribute, but that never happened. The NEWSWEEK issue dealing with JFK Jr. is dated August 2nd. The July 26th 1999 issue of NEWSWEEK simply vanished.

FAA Air Traffic Specialist On JFK Jr Media Coverage - "Nothing But Garbage"

As a specialist at the NY FSDPS:

I was asked (through intermediaries) by Jane Garvey, FAA Administrator, to create a report of the weather conditions JFK Jr. was flying in. I created such a report.

I have the following comments to make:

Nothing of what I heard on mainstream media makes any sense to me.

JFK Jr. had 100 flying hours and was flying a Piper Saratoga and previously owned a Cessna Skylane and was enroute from Northern NJ to Martha's Vineyard.

The statement makes no sense whatsoever.

FAA requirements for Private Pilot Certification is 40 hours. Most pilots require twice that. Older students require even more flying time.

No student I have ever heard of requested complex aircraft time before certification.

If JFK Jr. certified in 80 hours, he would probably seek ten hours of instruction in the Skylane (which is a complex aircraft). He would also be interested in some post certification "flag pole flying," getting used to his airplane and flying his friends around.

With as much money as he had, he could certainly afford some instruction in his Saratoga which is a far, far different airplane than a Cessna Skylane.

He would also like some flag pole flying in his Saratoga to reduce the "fear factor."

(Flying an airplane you are not used to can instill great fear, I assure you.)

The whole thing adds up to a lot more than 100 hours.

The weather along his flight was just fine. A little haze over eastern Connecticut.

Flying over water at night will eliminate any difficulty of restriction to visibility... that is, all a pilot is going to see is pitch black outside his cockpit whether there is haze or clouds. A pilot wouldn't know if there were any clouds unless he or she would turn the landing light on.

Last but not least, JFK Jr. was certified (therefore licensed) to fly the flight. Any mention of "daring" or "inexperience" is absolute nonsense.

I don't know why the airplane crashed, but what I heard on the media was nothing but garbage.
