Take a break with Y2K Barbie

This is from Gary North. I hate Barbie, but am very tempted to go for this one!

Haven't been able to check link as of this post, server apparently down at this time.

Cheerleading comes to an end for Barbie. But there's a new wardrobe: one-piece camouflage overalls, ammo bandolier, Russian tank cap with rabbit-lined ear flaps. Comes with a tiny LED flashlight that really works and a scale model of a Ruger Mini-14. Press her belly button, and she says: "Sorry, Ken, but I told you the rules: 6 months of food, or you get your own shelter." "I'm glad I got small bills only." "I hope Koskinen starves." "If they take away my guns, how can I shoot liberals?"

I don't know who Matel is, but Mattel (the owners of the Barbie franchise) would probably be interested to learn about this. Looks like Gary got hoodwinked again.

More likely its just Garys weird sense of humour popping up again.

I'm holding out for the GI Joe (as in Gets It) doll - as opposed to the DGI Ken Doll. Or should that be the GI Ken doll as opposed to the DGI Joe Sixpack doll?

When you push GI's button - if you live to hear it - he says:

"If you live within 5 miles of a 7-11, you're toast." [Paul Milne]

"I hope these statistics aren't as bad as they appear" [Bob Bennett]

"The code will break in strange and wonderful ways." [Cory Hamasaki]

"Won't be long now." [PM]

"BWA-HA-HA" [PM]

"Its systemic." [GN]

"Y2K -- LMGALMAO -- Loading my guns and laughing my ass off" [Tim May]

Does she come packaged with a wood stove and other Y2k preps? Of course, that would probably be extra. Barbie Bags '0 Rice? Barbie Baygen, etc.? ;-)
