Could you be a little more specific please?

A little less than half of the on-going y2k software projects are reporting they are behind schedule, acording to this report

Which is probably about what is to be expected.

An indicator of false reporting is when a large number of previously mixed reports (some ahead, some on time, and some behind) are all reported "complete" right on time to meet some outside imposed administrative deadline.

Such as the "sudden magic completion" of the FAA at its national deadline of 30 June. Before its new computers are even installed at all locations.

Okay, this was a HUGE pain in the ass to find, but here it is from the source of the information.

What concerns me most is the possibility that major problems could occur in systems that won't be fixed because these vendors won't have a large enough market to justify the cost of fixing them. So what if they're sued afterwards. I don't like the odds or the stakes.
