ah-ha,must be a "type-two",interesting that you call him insane for having an opinion different than yours.

Right on Zoob. The man/women was talking to your inner being. Trying to get your mind to work. Don't attack him/her, think about what he/she said!!!!!!

Fascinating how people can calmly contemplate thousands or even millions of people dying of cold, starvation, disease, etc. but a firearm..which only kills one person at a time....sends them into a frenzy of fear....so bad that they can't bear to think about it now, in the abstract.....how will they react when they actual y see someone with a gun?.

Zoob,

I think Killer would be proud of you! Lets wish him luck since he's out workin! Long live Killer!!!

Harry, he has just as much 'right' to post here as YOU do. I may not agree with all of what he has to say, but I regretfully agree with most. His comments on knowing your area and rangefinding are on target. There is no point in preparing if you are not prepared to defend you and your loved ones from whatever. A rifle or pistol is just a tool. No different than a rake or shovel (and both of those have been used to kill humans too.) I'd rather read his posts than those of corrine or SuperPolly or Y2KPro. I occasionally get new info from Killer....never fm the others. GO TO BED!! Untie your shorts in the morning.

You can see the formations of ganglia and the synapses firing here with this group. I'm sure violent fictional novels will suffice fer em and see them through during killers absence.

Greetings Harry!

Just so happens that I'm an Ex-SNIPER as well! I say this to validate everything that Killer spoke of. True, he does have a rather to the point approach, but did he get ya to stop and think just a little bit?

Here's a little something else to think about, What if there was one of us staked out in a "hide" around 600-1000 meters from your home and had other intentions than just watching?

Think about what would or rather what could you do?

now that you mention it,chainsaws are pretty scary, cheese graters make me nervous too.
