Once an ASS........

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Cess Poole, having been drummed outta here like the snake he is, is now over in CSY2K. Having been there only one day, he is getting reamed a new bung hole. Robert Folsom and Cory Hamasaki both caught him in the same lie and called him on it. He is reeling and staggering and making excuses for his behavior already.

Just thought that you would like to know that a dog returns to his own vomit and a leopard does not change its spots.

What exactly is csy2k and how do I link to it?

Good Lord....he's not the ONLY one. It would appear the pollys are suffering 'breakdowns' left and right around here lately. Do we have rubber-room facilities on this forum? Let us hope it is so......Flint, cpr, FactFinder, mumbling insanity I tell you, "destiny, destiny, no escaping, that's for me".

Wheeeeewwwww baby!

Carol - It's a newsgroup. It stands for 'computer.software.year-2000'.

You can access it through your news reader (under the 'mail' button on Internet Explorer) or through a website such as Dejanews.

Paul,

You are truly a piece of work.

Having "officially" withdrawn from posting threads on this forum, (Although I make "guest appearances" now and then, in response to this or that) I think you need to send me an email.

I'm a former reporter and you are amazing when it comes to this Y2k stuff. I'd like to know more precisely what makes you "tick."

My email address is real, as all the regulars on this forum know.

With regard to the above post:

I'm laughing at your persuasive use of the English language.

BWAAAHAAHH!

(With certainty, I can't duplicate your spelling of laughter online. I'm lame, but I try.)

:)

Paul,

This leopard sure did when first introduced to Y2K 18 months ago! As a former disaster plans writer for the government I instantly saw through all the hogwash being spewed by our "cowardly" leaders.

You are one of the few whose view I trust implicitly. Continue to give them hell! You are having a much greater effect than either you our they know.

-- (snowleopard6@webtv.net), July 11, 1999.

If you aren't worried about searching the newsgroup this is the best way to check out compsoftware year 2000 or CSY2K.

Warning, this is a calm reasonable forum compared to the group below. But it is the nerve center of all things Y2K on the net.

Carol,

The thread which Paul Milne alluded to is entitled "The mystery Polly detonates another one." If/when you read the thread you will find a very typical "csy2k pissin' contest". Lots of insults being tossed around, lots of arguments which boil down to little more than an exercise in semantics, etc.etc. blah, blah blah ad nauseum. If you happen to jump over there right now you will find that most of the supporters of Stephen Poole are noticeably absent from the fray. (Perhaps they took a Saturday night off or have already went to bed?) Poole is definitely getting "ganged up" on though.

-- CD (not@here.com), July 11, 1999.

Not by nearly enough people, I'm sure.

-- Will continue (farming@home.com), July 11, 1999.

From your point of view, I think you're right "Willcontinue". He's still standing and appears to be putting up a rather valiant fight. I don't think he can last though. It reminds me of a school of piranha on a feeding frenzy. He's just getting too many little blindside nips to survive. (Personally, I think it's a rather disgusting sight.)

-- CD (not@here.com), July 11, 1999.

Is it as disgusting as Poole's so-called "apology"?

-- I'm (Not@poole.fan), July 11, 1999.

Dear Mr. Milne, Having just followed the thread over at CSY2k, I am puzzled. Do you actually believe you are winning that argument? Are you actually proud enough of the logic you are demonstrating in this thread to advertise it on another forum?

-- Pete (agpeters@hotmail.com), July 11, 1999.

CD commented:

"If you happen to jump over there right now you will find that most of the supporters of Stephen Poole are noticeably absent from the fray. (Perhaps they took a Saturday night off or have already went to bed?) "

CD, and who are ALL of these so called supporters this guy has. If one takes time to look at the Der Boonka forum once in awhile one can readily see that most of the time these folks are talking to a limited audience or themselves !!

Hell No,

Paul Milne doesn't give anybody Hell! No, no, no. All he does is exactly what Harry Truman once said *he* was doing. When a member of the crowd once yelled out Give Em Hell Harry, Truman replied "I don't give em Hell, I just tell em the truth, and they *think* it's Hell!"

-- Gordon (gpconnolly@aol.com), July 11, 1999.

Exactly what truth is Milne "giving 'Em"? All I see is profanity and juvenile insults. Every once in awhile he types in some gibberish, but it does not answer the questions asked of him.

-- Pete (agpeters@hotmail.com), July 11, 1999.

Pete,

I see you can spot the Hell part real good. Concentrate on the message a little harder and the truth *might* suddenly dawn on you. Oh, are you objecting to Milne's salty language presentations?

-- Gordon (gpconnolly@aol.com), July 11, 1999.

Gordon:

Milne believes that if he screams that 2+2=a million enough times, then whoever he's screaming at is being routed by "the truth." This is why I don't bother with csy2k anymore. What's the use? You can't explain anything to a screaming lunatic. You can't argue, you can't debate, you can't analyze, you can't even puzzle over the meaning of any piece of information. All you can do is get screamed at.

Now, you may agree that 2+2 makes a million, rendering you deaf to what's really happening. But you won't make any intelligent converts.

-- Flint (flintc@mindspring.com), July 11, 1999.

It just dawned on me what Mr. Milne is really up too. He does realize that he is not winning the debate. So he comes over here and tries to enlist reinforcements.

-- Pete (agpeters@hotmail.com), July 11, 1999.

Hey, guys, this isn't a debate. That's where you are wrong. It's not a debate. It's about getting through. Good luck. Stop intellectualizing and start preparing.

-- Mara Wayne (MaraWayne@aol.com), July 11, 1999.

Pete:

I don't think so. The amazing thing about Milne is that he can shoot himself in the foot, shout "I got you" and sincerely believe he got you. By now, he's confined to a mental wheelchair and has no feet left, and he *still* believes he got you. Of all the candidates for poster child for y2k denial, I don't think Milne even has a close competitor.

-- Flint (flintc@mindspring.com), July 11, 1999.

Flint, I could be wrong, but I don't think this has worked out quite like Paulie had it planned....

-- Bob Brock (bbrock@i-america.net), July 11, 1999.

once again, Flint whining about Milne... sure gets old after the millionth time. as don henley said, GET OVER IT!

-- dog whistle (flint@whiner.supreme), July 11, 1999.

Milne is quite right. Poole is getting the intellectual crap beat out of him. Always funny to see a electronics technician taking on a master gearhead over a programming issue. Stephen should stick to things he's familiar with like soldering irons and loudspeakers.

-- a (a@a.a), July 11, 1999.

Once an ASS.......-- Paul Milne (fedinfo@halifax.com)

fit nicely together.

-- Jerk-off Paul (Milne@bigdumb.ass), July 12, 1999.

In the world of puckering assholes....nobody could hope to compete with Poole....except for 'premature ebrockulation'.....perhaps.

Ohhhhhhh, that was a good one, Milne........ROTFLOL!
