Y2K Humor From Camp Why-Too-Ka

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Visit us at Camp Why-Too-Ka on the shores of beautiful Lake Teotwawki. You'll find all about us by clicking on Camp "Brochure." Though we've started small, the site will be expanding weekly, to include Y2K recipes from our camp cook, Helga, free to anyone who dares to try them. Actually, they're quite good and can be made entirely from canned or dried/packaged foods. Until you've tried Helga's Roasted Stuffed Spam, you haven't lived. Also, Slade our activities director is busily writing the Why-Too-Ka anthem, which I understand is best when sung to the tune "This Land is Your Land." Slade swears he'll have an entire Y2K songbook up free to anyone who wants it before the June 30th Deadline. And yes, we really do sell our Camp T-shirts. We will be selling other things in the future, too, so you have that to look forward to as the fall prep buying frenzy kicks into full swing. Yours truly, Cindy Lou Camp Director Camp Why-Too-Ka Lake Teotwawki

Sounded cute, but link does not work. You sure you have it right?

Yup. The URL is http://www.campy2k.com The site is hosted by Yahoo! It's possible they could have been down temporarily.

The URL works. What a hoot!! You've made a fun place to visit. Now if you could collect all the TROLL BABIES from this place and dump them in the lake, I would be glad to paddle the first canoe over their heads.
