How to protect electronics against EMP-POSSIBLE???

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Do any of you have threads or good sites that I can visit to read up on protecting electric gear against the effects of EMP?

Thanks in advance;

I remember writing down that answer from another post. Someting to the effect of placing "overvoltage transient suppressors" on your "system"

Michael,

There appear to have been at least four EMP threads, and they seem to reside in the "Uncategrized" category at the bottom the the "Top Level" of this forum.

Thanks Jerry--

Michael, Unless you have a fallout shelter, don`t bother protecting your electronics against EMP. Not that i want to feed the polly/rational(doommer)fracus but what pollys fail to mention is to what extent preparations have saved the day for individuals and what- not, a self-induced-mega-blind-spot. Have a good day on the forum,everyone.
