Anyone here have any real power on their job?

Is there anyone here on the Board of Directors, President, CEO, or VP in charge of something, for a large company, utility, government agency, bank, or manufacturer? I don't think I have read any posts from anyone in those posistions. Without the imput from some of these posistion holders, we can't really have the whole picture. In my company, the Plant Manager is the head honcho of my plant, but still low man on the pole in the company. He knows nothing except what has been passed on from his boss from his boss. Of all the folks here does someone have access to the person who really knows?

A LONG time ago there was someone who was owner of a large healthcare agency in the southeast. I can't remember his handle but I do remember he was real worried about a statement someone in state gov't made to his about not to expect compensation for services for quite a while into the new year. This fellow was staing that he could meet payroll for a few weels but any longer than that and he would be needing several hundred thousands of dollars. I've made several posts on healthcare and he answered on the first but I haven't noticed his around. I know this isn't what you are looking for but anyway.

That would've been 'Lobo', and I think it was a home health care agency.

I am in charge of almost all the cleaning supplies and I will be pursuing a career in the Custodial Arts as soon as I can be promoted out of my current job and break the four figure annual salary. I am hoping to get some inside information from other Custodial Art majors about the Y2K compliance of our floor buffers and window squeegees. When I hear something I'll let you know.
