Can you make a sundial with a little beeper alarm? I am so used to having one to wake me up when I'm napping on the job.

What you would need is a Heath Robinson device. When the sun rays were at a certain angle they could burn through a rope to which was attached a large weight. The weight would be positioned over your head.

Sorry, not up to thinking of a "bleeping" device this time of night(UK time).

A sundial provides timely interpretation to the saying "only the shadow knows".
