Ahhh. How sweet al-d. Now go shoot yourself please.

-- Y2K Pro (2@641.com), June 10, 1999.

Ahhh,,,Yet another heartfelt and omnipotent piece of advice from Y2K Pro.

-- smfdoc (smfdoc@aol.com), June 10, 1999.

whats with you guys? now that you've sufficiently beat up on al-d over everthing from his spelling, punctuation, choice of topics, and that "precious" thread space, mission accomplished, huh? the people who were tolerant of him and sincerely tried to help him, i applaud. we aren't doing goddamn brain surgery here folks. i'm not very computer savvy myself, but i'm sincere in trying to learn( computers and this forum). jeez, the intolerance and smart remarks to al-d were unnecessary as he obviously wanted to participate in this forum. i rather enjoyed him-- hope you stick around al-d. beat wishes

Yeah I was positively riveted on that sardine thread.

al-d,

Sometimes it is easier to watch awhile, kinda learn the ropes and then jump in. But do not let the like of Y2k pro and others turn you off to learning and asking. Some people have nasty personalites that get magnified when they are not face to face. There are a lot of threads here that waste band width, and lots of people (myself included), who contribute to them. Hang in there.

al-d,

Don't leave now, you just got here. What do you think of c4i? I didn't get through all the threads yet, but it looks interesting.

Al D

Looks like a few of your pearls might still make a string.

"Ahhh. How sweet al-d. Now go shoot yourself please."

This is obviously not me. Where are these vaunted sysops when you actually need them?

-- Y2K Pro (2@641.com), June 11, 1999.

"This is obviously not me."

Who knew?

Moderator, please pull the plug on this troll.

-- Had it (with@this.troll), June 11, 1999.

H.i. - Which one(s)?

-- Ken Seger (kenseger@earthlink.net), June 11, 1999.

Why pull the plug? Heck, I'm impressed that he's (she's ?) got enought guts to admit he/she/it has learned something, wants to learn more, is willing to listen to people to learn, and is willing to admit it publically.

That's admirable, not "pullalble" .....

-- Lisa (lisa@work.now), June 11, 1999.

A sysop (as computator people ususally do) is an abbreviation for system operator - the network guru who loads software, fixes nets, reloads passwords, etc.

-- Robert A. Cook, PE (Kennesaw, GA) (cook.r@csaatl.com), June 11, 1999.

Robert, your spell-checker is about to get spooned, as well.

-- lisa (lisa@work.now), June 11, 1999.
